Layers of Bryce N.P.
Bryce Canyon National Park is another gem of a location within Southwest America. The hoodoo's are plentiful and dramatic as they jet up from the sand, to create a beautiful contrast of soft and hard. Each column has it’s own unique appearance, as it towers above the particles that it’s made of.
I loved photographing the texture, color and motion of small sections of the entire area, such as in this image. I have several captures of Bryce's entirety (which I’ll showcase on another post), but I found my eye kept wondering to small slivers of the whole, as the soft flowing sand worked perfectly against the hard, towering hoodoos.
