Pagoda Sunset (Patterson Park - Baltimore)
Good lighting at sunset always changes quickly, so you have to be behind your lens before the light actually happens or you're too late.
Since I knew the tulip trees that framed the Pagoda (the iconic building at the top of Patterson Park in the heart of Baltimore City) were in full bloom, I’d been keeping my eyes toward the sky for several days hoping that some cloud drama would appear. When I finally saw some interesting clouds forming above, I grabbed my gear and hurried up to the park. The light was soft that evening, but when the interesting cloud formation finally popped, I was behind my lens to capture a calm, soft, spring scene.
